  Description: "Gr\xF6bner bases in commutative and non-commutative algebras\n Bergman\
\ is a powerful tool to calculate Gr\xF6bner bases in commutative\n and non-commutative\
\ algebras, and in modules over them. It may also be\n used to calculate some\
\ invariants of algebras and modules: the Hilbert\n series, and (in the non-commutative\
\ case) the Poincar\xE9-Betti series,\n the Anick resolution, and the Betti numbers.\n\
\ .\n The most important feature of bergman are computations both in\n non-commutative\
\ and commutative cases. It also permits degree-wise\n output of results; thus\
\ it may save partial results from calculations\n close to or beyond the limit\
    \ for calculations of entire Gr\xF6bner bases\n with present-day computer strength.\
\ This saves for the user partial\n results even the problem overheads the strength\
\ of the computer.\n .\n Bergman offers the user a high level of flexibiliy. Among\
\ the\n alternatives for ring set-ups are: commutativity or non-commutativity;\n\
    \ various strategies of Gr\xF6bner basis computation; a few different\n monomial\
\ orderings; and various coefficient fields. The set-up may be\n changed interactively\
\ during the session. Most calculations can be\n done both for ideals and modules.\
\ In the Reduce version it is possible\n to include indeterminates (with or without\
\ declared reduction rules)\n as coefficients for the commutative computations;\
    \ otherwise the\n coefficient field should be a prime field.\n .\n Bergman is\
\ written in Standard Lisp, the Lisp dialect underlying\n Reduce implementations.\
\ There is also available an experimentative\n Common Lisp version.Therefore,\
\ bergman works under Reduce, PSL or\n Common Lisp (at least one of them should\
\ be pre-installed), and\n commands are written in respect to Reduce or Lisp syntax."
